Imperialism compared with monopoly capitalism

The imperialism have a direct relation with the monopolies because this type of government show to the industries owners that one man can associate with the government to control the market of its product, in fact, the idea of capitalism and free market was growing thin because of the owners of the industries. These ideas of expansion over smaller factories start monopolies in the big countries of all kind of resources as cloths and materials. An example is the English East India Company which was taking all the trades from eastern shores, especially Indian, to sell them in Europe.

One example in the 19th century is the British East India Company that rule the comercy in the seas. But today we have monopolys too, in Mexico for example, Telmex is  monopoly that controlls the comunactions industry.
